Seiko Age of Discovery ini adalah salah satu lini seiko yang diproduksi untuk memperingati perjalanan dan penemuan para Explorers yang melegenda dan visi mereka yang tanpa batas.






Beberapa ciri-ciri Seiko AOD yang menjadi ciri khas adalah logo "Kapal Layar" di back case dan bentuk hand hour-nya yang menyerupai kompas pada jaman-jaman penjelajahan dahulu kala.






Hal ini lah yang menyebabkan varian Seiko AOD menjadi incaran para kolektor dan sekarang ini agak sulit untuk menemukannya dalam kondisi NOS - Full Set.
